The BORNE Alliance brings a network of volunteer health experts and providers in brain and nervous system health and other medical fields to contribute their knowledge, time, and resources to help build the capacity through collaboration with local academic and social institutions in order to provide much-needed care.
Our Mission
"The BORNE Alliance is a natural product of a sustained capacity building effort in Bahir Dar Ethiopia through clinical teaching of medical residents and students at Bahir Dar University, staff training of diagnostic skills such as EEG, providing Neurology books and Continuous Medical Education (CME) materials and conducting major educational symposia and workshops. The BORNE Alliance provides a platform to coordinate grass-root activities by volunteers in the healthcare field and all citizens who would like to support this effort through their skills, time or money."
